The Thuraya IP mobile terminal series was originally designed to ensure uninterrupted high-speed data transmission. The new generation of Thuraya IP satellite modems continues this tradition, offering access to high-speed internet, but with a more compact size (about half the size of an A4 sheet, i.e., A5) and lighter weight — typically up to 1.3 kg with battery. They also feature a new shock-resistant casing and an intuitive interface.
Great attention was paid to performance, enhanced by a built-in TCP/IP accelerator and additional protection against unauthorized access through dynamic digital signal encryption.
